In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, very little attention has been paid to the deteriorating climate conditions. Environmental degradation shows no signs of slowing down, and in fact, the threat is intensified and has become imminent.

Without immediate interventions, our planet will fall apart, in an irreversible way.

Everyone in every nation should act actively and responsibly, not leaving our environment behind while coping with the pandemic.

Newly published ‘Grun Book’ outlines Singapore’s blueprint to be transformed into a regional hub of excellence in plastics recycling, providing economic development, job opportunities and exciting future possibilities for the nation.

For a greener Singapore, J.O.E would like everyone of us to act now, reduce plastic consumption from the source and practise sorting for more cost-effective plastic recycling process.

Climate change and environmental pollution are two of the greatest threats affecting children’s growth.

Every year, about 3 million children under the age of 5 lost their lives flighting against diseases related to their living conditions, such as asthma, severe diarrhoea and malaria.

What we have been doing now, to protect the environment, is not only for the benefit of us, but also safeguarding the living space for our future generations.

Let us brighten up and sparkle joy in the children through our unconditional love and actions.
